Spectre Teaser Review

The teaser trailer for Spectre teases the 24th James Bond in the franchise.  Actor Daniel Craig reprises the 007 role for the fourth time.

The teaser mentions Bond’s secret past and how it plays into his next assignment.  The mood of the trailer is very dark and gritty.  Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) references the events of the previous film Skyfall and that it will tie into this episode.  For 90 seconds, there was an aura of a psychological thriller as opposed to an action film.  In the remaining few seconds, the iconic Bond music plays.

The cinematography of this film matches the mood of the teaser.  A very disturbing cadence gives the piece a rhythm that draws in any viewer.  This may be the darkest James Bond film yet.  Spectre hits theatres on November 6, 2015 and is directed by Sam Mendes.
