DC Films fans may have their future “Kevin Feige” in heralded comic book writer and television producer Geoff Johns. In the wake of disappointing reviews and box office numbers of the highly-anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC Films along with Warner Bros. Pictures as a whole made changes on the executive level.
Johns has a deep understanding of the DC characters and will co-head comic book film production with film producer Jon Berg. Berg’s credits include Jon Favreau’s 2003 film ‘Elf’, starring Will Ferrell and Doug Limon’s 2014 action film ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Fans should not expect to see changes from until after Justice League Part One.
